We absolutely adore the lit up plastic grapes that adorn the wall - and that image should convey the kind of experience that Zanellis' provides. The food is respectable and the prices are reasonable (bearing in mind that Rotorua is on the pricey side).

Went there for dinner, I had the lasagne, husband had the lamb and daughter had the risotto, was really nice, very filling. The service is great, food was delivered in good time. Would go there again. Atmosphere was really nice, not a huge place but tables well spaced so you don't feel like you eating at the next table.

If you want traditional Italian cuisine and wine then this is the place. A small restaurant with loads of atmosphere and fantastic food. You will return again and again.

We went for a long weekend in Rotorua and stumbled upon a lovely Italian restaurant, The decor was like eating outside on a terrace under the grape vines. We had a lovely meal and would recommend this place.
