When a restaurant sets themselves up as offering “a unique dining experience”, then they simply MUST deliver. The Grande Villa Restaurant at Ormlie Lodge failed – big time! We booked for an occasion dinner. The venue and ambience is just lovely. However, the service was slow, and the food not up to scratch, especially for the price. My rare steak was medium, and the cheesecake was icy as if it had just been defrosted.
