I went out for dinner with my wonderful girlfriend and i chose this "authentic turkish" restaurant. The food was awful i thouhgt i had overpaid at one point because the food was gross. We could not choose where we wanted to sit and i think it is because they only want to do the bare minimum of cleaning. My experience was not good.I...

My wife and I enjoyed a good meal at Kilim. The menu is like one your Mum would put together, full of great home baked family treasures - plenty of love a care goes into each dish. The food was of excellent quality and there was certainly lots of it.
This is a restaurant we will return to when next...

Tried it after searching for middle eastern restaurant in Napier, turned out the best dinning experience in days! Great value for tasty food, mixed grill & a starter were well prepared in large portions. Do not forget the obvious for those with sweet tooth, Turkish baklava & Turkish coffee :)
I have dined in here a few times but prefer the takeaway option for Kilim, the food is good and well priced and the staff are friendly. But must stress its not a great restaurant as people walk through the diners to get to the counter. Will stick to this place for takeaways but not to dine in.
real authentic turkish food from this pleasant family run affair, an outstanding vegetarian mezze was something we tried twice!
This is a gem for foodies....193 Hastings Street, Napier. Just found it when out walking the Art Deco streets of Napier. We love Turkish food and the results of what is placed on your plate, whish is flavoursome and fresh. Visitors will be glad they walked through the door and sat down to order!!
Locals reccommended it and we decided to go for a takeaway. Food was good, large portions and relatively good value, although most things in NZ seem very expensive. Would reccommend.
Don't let the prices fool you - the food is excellent and unless you have a very large appetite share a dish with a friend.
Went at 915pm, we WERE regulars, waitress said we are closed, there was alot of people dining, sign on window said restaurant open until 930pm. Said we had to have takeaways at dine in prices... never going back.
