Disorganised, cluttered, crowded, even at dinner screaming kids crawling on the floor. Poor value for money at $80 pp for a buffet. Choice wide, so quality not achieved. Hot food on cold plates. Overall very poor for a supposedly 5 star.

My husband and I had a wonderful meal at Eight at the Langham in 2012. We tried eight different cuisines and they were amazing. The service was just brilliant. We would love to go back again!
My wife and I dined at Eight last night. We ordered off the a la carte menu and the food was fine, without being of a fine dining calibre. We could have also dined at quite an innovative buffet where they cook various dishes individually on request.

We had both dinner and breakfast buffets at 8. The chefs and wait staff provided first class service. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked. Must go when in Auckland.

There are hotels and then there are HOTELS. The Langham is somethime pretty special and our prefered place to stay and dine if we feel like indulging.
I love eating at Eight. My favourite part is being able to choose from so many interactive kitchens as well as having the food cooked to my taste. I could spend hours and hours eating.
