Not many places like this left in Perth - its quite an old-school pub/bar atmosphere and the food is actually pretty decent. Its probably not going to impress a date! But it ticks the boxes for a casual, pub style environment.

Welcoming staff, tasty food with a great menu and reasonable prices.
Music was enjoyable as well as decor.
My meal was missing the sweet potato but other than that the dish was cooked perfectly.
Husband tried their famous chilli burger but was disappointed that it was not hot enough and served with tomato sauce on the side instead of more...

I had always been intrigued about the signage that indicated a cool underground bar, but when I finally entered I found a seedy dive filled with rough alcoholics and some very average food. The bar tender was quite friendly though.

This place has varied lunch options, with well prepared and reasonably priced dishes. It attracts an interesting and varied clientele. Enjoyable, relaxing spot for lunch.
