I love my Italian food and hearing this place was "classic" Italian, I was looking forward to a more sophisticated Italian experience. I have to admit, the atmosphere is very Fine dining but for me personally I found it to lack any real charm or character. As far as the food is concerned, we started off with salt and pepper... More

I was very excited to take my husband to Tartufo after having an excellent dining experience previously on a girl's night out. On arrival we were seated at a table with a paper tablecloth which I found offensive when you are spending that kind of money. The entrées were pleasant enough but it was the main that really fell short... More

First time visit. Started with a salt 'n pepper calamari and arincini balls - fresh and well cooked. Selected the wild mushroom linguine with an Italian Pinot. Fast service with nice ambience. Would go again.

What's not to like. The atmosphere and dim lighting enhance what has to be the most amazing premises. From the pressed metal ceilings to the beautiful pewter bar and the Chanel colour scheme this place is a standout in Brisbane. The menu doesn't read nearly as good as the food tastes. I found myself ordering things that I normally wouldn't... More

Went there for lunch one Monday in April and had a very good meal, made even better by the attentive, experienced and amusing staff. True Italian style food, beautifully prepared and so tasty. Everything about the place oozes style and comfort, nothing seems to be trouble for them and they just handle everything so effortlessly. The waiting staff know how... More

Service with a smile and food was finger licking good. Recommend the rack of lamb. Just all so great - service is brilliant - food was beyond amazing.

Our second visit and again fantastic. The food and service are great. While the restaurant is very large, the lighting make the atmosphere seem quite intimate.

The food there is just sublime Italian: simple and delicious. All the food we ordered (2 entrees, 3 mains and 3 deserts) was absolutely spot-on in terms of cooking and seasoning. The associations are made in heaven and there is no tendency to over complicate dishes to make them look fancy. I would especially recommend the calamari which are so... More

What a beautiful dinner! The service and food were excellent. The menu hard to choose from as it all sounded too good. This restaurant puts Brisbane on the foodie map, not a rip off tourist joint, but a sophisticated, enjoyable experience. We will be back!

Great food, atmosphere, service and value. Parked out the front. The food was all of good quality and value. The menu offered so many appealling dishes it is hard to just choose one. Scallops on beetroot so moorish. Barramundi devine. Rolled veal delicious. Desserts were all fab and the over all service was very good. Not in your face, but... More
