Best tapas ever! There is no menu. They make the best tapas from the best ingredients available each day. We paid 40€ for lunch, all together, three adults and one kid. Fantastic place and food! It seems simple, but boy do they surprise in a good way:) pic.twitter.com/LwF77FdI

My friend and i went after a recommendation from our hotel (trip advisor reviews backed up our selection!). Small restaurant, simply furnished and decorated, with lovely atmosphere, great staff and gorgeous food. No menu, chose from the counter or ask the staff for specials, everything fresh and cooked to order! Pleasant surprise when the bill came and was approx €17... More

Checked Tripadvisor when in Maspalomas and this is number one currently, and it's not that big a mystery. Ate out almost every night on Gran Canaria and this was the only restaurant that featured locals, often a good sign. The tapas were authentic and very well tasting all around. We had shrimps with mushrooms, guacamole/ham on bread, salmon/ham on bread,... More

It took us a little while to fine La Tapita and the area is a little "run down" but the food was delicious and the service wonderful and enthusiastic. There is no menu - either choose from bar snacks or the waiter will tell you what is available on the day. It says much that the place is full of... More

This is an excellent venue for sampling Tapas at its best. Set in San Fernando it is mostly frequented by local people but food is presented very well with a wide range of choices. Highly recommended experience.

Delicious food, served in a friendly atmosphere and great selection of Spanish wines and cured meats. Staff efficient, helpful and polite. This is a great place to enjoy a meal away from the usual steak, fish and pasta served all over. Had to get a taxi to locate the restaurant. Lighting a bit bright but does not detract from overall... Make sure that you come there in time. It was almost full when we arrived at 7pm. We had to sit outside. However, as time went, they fixed tables and chairs and just put them at the sidewalk outside the restaurant. Asking for the menu? Forget it, the waiters are the menus. We asked them to serve us the favourites... More

Great food! Absolutely great staff, from the owner, the cooks, the waitstaff, even the bartender (thank you Adam)!! My wife and I had dinner here on two occasions and both times were fantastic. These were the best meals we had during our week on Gran Canaria. The tapas were fantastic as was everything that we had, wine, drinks, and dessert.... More

Visited this very authentic Spanish restaurant for the 2nd time. Very cosy and relaxed atmosphere and the waiters are even that! No menu-card, just an row of traditional Tapas dishes to choose from. Lovely pure food, especially the Ensalada Tapita (€ 9,90) is a must! Public is mixed in age but mostly Spanish. If you will have a definitive preference... More

If eating as the locals in a non touristic place, means eating lousy in a shabby location on the street and paying above market prices ... this is the place. Low quality, nothing to be mentioned as positive and quite expensive for what you get: 25 EUR each for 5 simple tapas to be shared in 3 plus a dessert... More
