We decided to visit McGann's for a change of pace. We had been eating at one of the other pubs and it was great, but we wanted to experience something different. My wife decided to order the lamb shank and it was fantastic! It was as good as anything we ate during our entire trip to Ireland. Loved it! We... More

If you want to enjoy true Irish atmosphere, good food and congenial service McGanns is a good place to visit. This is more off the beaten track and not as touristy as some other pub in the area. Good place to meet other travelers too as there are many hostel's in the area. More

Although it was very early in the morning as I was due to catch a train, we were all made to feel welcome, the fire was blazing and the breakfast was superb with special portions for the two children. My first visit to McGanns and I was fascinated by all the photos and memorabilia on the walls, and there is... More

Stopped for a quick lunch and ended up spending the afternoon talking to staff and locals. It is a stop for local bus tours but hit it at the right time and you avoid crowds and get only the best food, beverages and conversation. More

Visited Doolin and happened to be there for Thanksgiving. McGanns had a n evening for them, along with the local talent. A great location, with great food, good service, and the music was a great top off. Even local man Johnny came in for a dance and took up a few of the visitors for an Irish jig! anything goes... The food was great, the service excellent, reasonable prices and a convenient place to stop before visiting the Burren Code. The best part-one of the owners came and sat with our tour group to sing us a song. Lovely woman! True irish hospitality at its finest! More

We enjoyed our evening at McGann's. We came to Doolin to be guaranteed of hearing traditional Irish music and McGann's did not disappoint. I enjoyed the seafood chowder and my husband loved the fish & chips. The music was lively and the reason we love Ireland. Go! More

On a recent trip with seven friends, we had to stop my my favorite pub on the planet, McGann's. It was my sixth visit and my friends first. They loved it, of course. Great pub food and atmosphere. The cost per person really depends on how much you drink. :) Swing by McGann's and enjoy the hospiltality of the wonderful... More
