It started off badly, as we got overbooked and ended up eating an hour later than scheduled. I was pretty mad at the time, and the owner was so apologetic. The food was fantastic, and the staff very friendly. The owner was lovely and by way of apology, threw in a bottle of wine, desert and a glass of port.... More

We've been very lucky to eat in many excellent restaurants around the world, but Cullinan's in Doolin just superb. As well as being a gifted chef, James is a renowned fiddle player. This is reflected in the choice of background music that greets you when you enter the restaurant. The atmosphere is very intimate and you immediately feel spoilt -... More

This was our third visit to this superb restaurant and it was no problem when we had one coeliac and one milk free allergy in our party. More

We arrived at Cullinan's late Friday night and asked if a table was available. They were full but suggested that a wait of 15 minutes should result in an opening. We sat in their waiting area, next to a peat fire and just relaxed. 15 minutes went by, we sat at a window seat and ordered one of the nicest... More

Went to make a booking here for one evening but got a very frosty reception. Was told we could have a table that evening but as the host was so unfriendly we decided not to part with our money there. More

In little Doolin, it was a surprise to find a restaurant with such a high standard of service, atmsophere and food. The hostess was welcoming and while I am not normally a B&B person, this venue feels more like an intimate restuarant. The food was fresh, clean and very tasty as well as being beautifully prepared. The service was great,... More

If you should find yourself in Doolin, Ireland, then treat yourself to a most delicious meal at Cullinan's. Our host at Killilagh House, Brid Shannon, suggested she could make dinner reservations for us, as we would be arriving into town late on a Saturday afternoon. We knew nothing about the restaurant and were so impressed by the quality of the... More

Cullinans is a top class restaurant, great food, hospitality and such a wonderful view from the dining room. We stayed for a few nights and room and breakfast were equally good. More

The atmosphere will strike you the minute you enter the restaurant, the standards are exceptionally high, cleanliness, service, quality and value are just top class. If I had to make out a list of the top five restaurants to eat in this world, then Cullinans would be exceptionally high on the list. I would highly recommend this beautiful first class... More

Pat & I were looking forward to eating in Cullilnans seafood restaurant since we heard such great reviews about it. It lived up to our expectations in every way. Carol welcomed us into her beautiful dining room. The food was delicious, the service perfect, the atmosphere so relacing, truly a perfect evening out. We will return soon. Congratulations to Carol... More
