Have heard about this restaurant for years, always planned to go there on a special occasion.Wife and I had our first born and decided we would treat ourselves to something special. We had no babysitter so brought baby with us.Thankfully baby was great at that age and just slept and never made a fuss.We were greeted in reception by the Lady... More

Had dinner here with my wife and daughter. The service was very good and the food even better. Ask for a window table if available. More

While it is a bit outside the city, the commuter railway line (DART) makes the trip from the centre in about 20 minutes. This is THE place for seafood lovers. Everything is freshly caught and cooked to perfection. While the a la carte is quite expensive they have a good value set lunch and dinner menu and an early brid... More

Make the effort and visit this lovely first floor restaurant, only 15/20 minutes out of Dublin city centre is well worth the visit. Super menu with a great offering of fresh seafood and shellfish dishes. More

We ate twice within a week at the King Sitric. The location offer stunning views, if you are lucky enough to get a table at the window. As the restaurant was very busy both nights, we made reservations. Sitting in the downstairs lounge to enjoy an aperitiv whilst choosing off a well-compiled menu is a pleasure. There a two combination... More

Went there for the second time in April 2011 specifically for their wines. Very nice selection at reasonable price (they're trying to "get rid" of old bottles). So we did treat ourselves with 2 good bottles. Unfortunately, the dinner menu we had was no match to the wine. Presentation really basic, and nothing exceptional in the plate. Location is amazing,... I had the misfortune to bring me in-laws from Germany to this place in what I had hoped would be a memorable night, however it turned out to an expensive disaster. Incredibly slow service, and the waiters appear to serve their friends first! Also the chef doesn't know how to cook fish - the least you would expect! More

We stayed overnight in early June and enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant that evening. The food was satisfying - fresh, well-prepared and while not breaking any new ground, did not let the preparation get in the way of the ingredients. Oh, and the older wines were discounted tremendously and we enjoyed a burgundian bargain. More

We were invisible to this staff. First you order, if you can tackle a waiter, then you are led "upstairs" after you cool your heels long enough. Wait staff of bored indolents. More
