I ordered 1/2 dozen oysters to start which were served with a red onion vinaigrette. Out of habit, I requested Tabasco but I'll happily admit that the vinaigrette was much better. The seafood platter main was really tasty, although most of the seafood was hot and not what I expected when I ordered (I was thinking more of a platter... More

Heard friends rave about Deep in Howth and went there with great expectations, sadly dashed. First of all they told "mine host" that the restaurant was wheelchair accessible, however, two steps at the entrance made that a lie. No matter, if they want to bother wheelchair ramps are available for < €400 (if you were bothered to make an effort).... More

This restaurant is on the quayside in Howth and you can sit outside on the pavement overlooking the harbor although inside is very nice. The food is top class and the staff are very professional and knowledgeable. There is mainly fish on the menu ( I suppose you could guess that from name and location !) but I had a... More

We ate here with our 15 & 5 year old kids. The food was perfect, Literally perfect. Our 5 year old had fish and chips, cleared his plate and then ate some of everybody else's. Even at 5 people can appreciate true quality. We all ate different meals and tried each others and we will be back as often as... More

Being so close to the sea we assumed the seafood platters would be fresh, however we were so wrong. Our platter consisted of what seemed to be deep fried frozen seafood straight from the supermarket. Admittedly they were only $25 euro but we expected alot better. More

A very nice small town restaurant that needs to check on their staff more. My son had plastic in his meal and when our bill came they still tried to charge us. Even when we got that resolved they did not refund the full meal only partial. Poor service!!! More

I stopped in for lunch during a day trip to Howth. This restaurant caught my eye because it has a warm, uncluttered, inviting look. The service was friendly and quick. I had smoked salmon served over roasted potatoes with a dijon sauce: simple food, perfectly prepared. Days later, thinking of that lunch makes me wish I were back in Ireland! More
