Superb setting for a very special night. Had the Sole, not cheap but probably the best I have ever eaten. My wife had the early bird which is exceptional value. For a special night you won't be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I chose Aqua restaurant for a Sunday Lunch. The restaurant was our first choice because of it's scenic view which was just as we expected, stunning.
Friendly staff greeted us and our coats were taken on reception. Then we were led into a lovely lounge with cosy sofas and fire place. Soon after we were shown to...

This place is not cheap but the food is very good. Together with the views over Howth and Sutton, this is a great spot for a special occasion

My boss was from Howth and suggested we try Aqua when we got there. I am so glad he made the suggestion. The food was heavenly! It was unique and fresh. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. When we first got there I wasn't sure what to expect as it seemed a bit "old". But after the...

Liked the setting, nice view and cost bar. Didn't like all the added extras, veg, potatoes, etc. Pricey for what you get!

I totally disagree with the good reviews this place has gotten! If I dined because of the view, interior and atmosphere, this would be a good bet. But the truth is that a good view etc doesn't cut it when you're paying good money for crap food and oxidised (corked) wine! I got the Lobster to start which was very...

Overall summary is the food is Just OK.
I had the lobster and found it quiet bland, it needed more of something.
Seabass was too big but had salad again (as per starter) on side with uninteresting veg on side. Husbands fish was overcooked and batter quiet chewy. Desserts, nothing special - shouldn't have bothered. Great views but for €100...

My sister and I spent 8 days in Dublin and on our second to last day there (Sept. 13, 2011) we decided to visit the castle at Malahide and the village of Howth (on the advice of a friend back home).. We took the Dart from Dublin's Tara St. station which was a short walk down O'Connell St. not far...

I have been here many times. Although the price of the menu can be off-putting for people, as it is quite expensive, there is a way around that. Their Early Bird menu is just as good, with a very reasonable price, and goes on all night some days.
The views of the sea, and harbor in this restaurant are unlike...

I had the BEST fillet steak here. Just superb.
The location and views are spectacular - with every table ensured a prime vista due to the open glazing and spacious seating.
The staff are professional and courteous. The portions are generous. I can't praise this restaurant highly enough.
