The had an early Irish band, 6:30 to 9:00ish and a different Irish band later. Both were a lot of fun.

This bar is divided in two, and we sat at the front, which is close and cozy with a lot of American memorabilia on the walls to make it interesting. There was a trio of young musicians playing and they were clearly very talented, playing at just the right volume for the space. The owner was also quite tactful in...

This is a beautiful place to eat. The food is great and the staff are lovely. They have live music and great disco's. It's a great place to go for food during the day and music and fun in the evenings/ at night. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!
We limped into Griffins Bar on spec after a walk of over 3 hrs along the disused railway line from Ballynahinch Castle Hotel. We had set out that morning wanting both a pleasant walk and to see the Six Nations rugby. We hadn't realised the walk would be quite so long! We were so pleased that Griffins Bar had the...

We visited Griffins Pub on St Patrick's weekend and we thoroughly enjoy the experience. John and Aidan the bar tenders were extremely friendly and looked after us well each night. David Griffin the proprietar was also very welcoming and remembered us from our last visit a few yrs ago. If you visit Clifden you must visit Griffins Bar. There was...

Went out of season but found a warm welcome, roaring fire and a great pint. Lots of places charge silly money to tourists for a Guinness (paid 6eu a pint down the road) but we were treated like locals in every way - and given good advice about sight-seeing and even had other pubs recommended. Not surprisingly we returned and...

Had lunch there, food lovely, staff friendly and helpful, went back in the evening lovely open fire, stayed longer than we should have...?
Had reason to complain about a glass of wine - the reaction of the barman was to say I was mistaken and then turn his back and walk away while I was talking to him. Very disappointed. Seemed like a nice place and had planned to stay for another few rounds but couldn't stay after being treated so rudely. Pity.
Worst bar ever .owner has to be the rudest man ever.has no people skills only interested in taking your money.
We wandered in after a day or driving around Co Galway. We met some visitors from another part of Ireland and one of the bar regulars Paddy Mac. Thank you for your help over and above Paddy! We owe you some beer!
