We only stopped in here for drinks and to rest our feet but the bartender/waitstaff was great. He was very friendly and accommodating to us and allowed us to bring in our sleeping toddler in her stroller. He was very friendly in telling us the link to Newport RI. The place also has a great beer garden in the back... More

excellent Guinness oysters and music... very friendly and a really good intimate restaurant attached as well... right in the town centre and only about 4 minutes walk from the friars lodge hotel.. More

I was very disapointed with my meal here. My medium steak arrived well done and stewed rather than grilled, which suggests it came out of the freezer , was defrosted and fried in a mix of water and cooking oil. We spent a weekend in Kinsale and we went for something to eat to the White House. the food was delicious, the atmosphere in the pub was great: we felt like at home as it was so cosy and very welcoming. Agnieszka & Anthony More

Paul and the team are very friendly and welcoming for the solo traveller! I enjoyed my evening out with live music, a bar snack and the local revellers at this place. There's a nice, homely atmosphere here and a varied demographic, I'll definitely go back again if in Kinsale! More

Just ate in the white house about 2 hrs ago after reading many reviews about restaurants in kinsale we opted for the white house and we weren't disappointed in anyway..
