We stayed upstairs at Virginia's Guest House, so this was the easiest resturant to get to. Boy are we glad we went. My wife siad the chicken was the best she has ever had, anywhere. The food was excellent and the presentation was delightful. More

We had a great dinner here in July. We sat in the bar area and had wine while waiting for our table. The hostess/bar staff was extremely friendly and she was very helpful in selecting the wine and she told us about the specials of the evening. We eventually moved into the dining room, which was candle-lit and modern, warm.... More

A group of 6 of us went here for a meal on a Saturday night a few weeks ago. We had not met in ages so it was about a good chat and nice meal. The food was absolutely first class. The setting great, just so relaxing. The waitress that was on our table though was not great. There was... More

We went to Mulcahys for dinner while staying in Kenmare, Ireland and it was, without a doubt, the best restaurant experience of a 3 week trip to Ireland & Scotland. The service, atmosphere, staff and food were perfect. Wish we had gone there both nights. More

Our dinner at Mulcahys was very good, start to finish. We were staying at Virginia's guesthouse upstairs but did not go here our first night in town, but we should have. The mussels were very well done and perfectly glazed. The taste of the rib eye was excellent and although neither of us can remember our dessert that night, we... More
