We visit Geranio each year in January and each year we have had a great dinner !,Their selection of wines is excellent! Just order the fresh antipasti as a starter, followed by grilled fish or saltimbocca. At the end, go to sleep at the Schloss Hotel and next day visit the huge castle on top of the hill.

Very friendly staff. Nice touches of elegance without being too pricey. Extensive menu from pizza to something more sophisticated. Would suit family or business traveller. Good coice.

This award winning restaurant is really surprisingly good. Never had expected a restaurant of this class in Braunfels. A place you can bring any business partners or customer. Excellent menu and wine list. The only small problem was the unexpected credit-card machine which didn't work. this should have been mentioned before dinner.

Braunfels is one of the many stunning medieval castle towns in Germany. A visit and a walk around is a great experience.
