Cantina de Corvi isn't easy to locate, but well worth the effort. We went there in May on a cool and wet evening, however the warm greeting we received by Sara made up for that. Once shown to our table, Sara explained the menu and offered suggestions for both food and wine. The menu is fantastic with many unique, delicious sounding... More

This is a great restaurant in Spoleo. Creative dishes and very attentive and friendly service. The wine is extraordinary. Try the biological Sangrita di Monefalco, which is a rare delight. All the food tastes better with it. If you travel through Umbria and feel like having something else (even seafood) this is the place to go. We had great gamberoni... More

The standard of cooking at this establishment is exceptionally good and the menu has an excellent selection of dishes. Sara, la cameriere, is very attentive and helpful and partner Francesco presents his top-class cooking to advantage. We had beautiful gamberoni for primi and gnocchi with tartuffe and cod with chick-pea sauce as secondi. All were of an exceptionally high standard.Unfortunately... More

After reading the fantastic reviews on TA...we set out for a nice lunch at Cantina de Corvi. It was a bit of a challenge to locate...it's down some stairs off the main pedestrian street..and around a corner..but then voila! We were warmly greeted by Sara and shown to a nice table. The menu is fantastic..with many unique, delicious sounding choices. With... More

After many meals in Italy (Rome, Amalfi Coast, and now Spoleto) in the last few weeks, we've found our favorite. Cantina de Corvi provided us with a delicious light lunch (a gently fried eggplant/tomato/mozzerella dish and a plate of very thiny sliced and then crisply roasted fresh pork with valerian greens, onion, and pine nuts -- scruptuous!) for only 20E.... The food is out of this world, the ambiance is like a fairy tale, and the owners, Sara and Francisco, could not be more charming. The strangozzi with lamb was delicious, and don't miss the babba desert. This is an an unbelievable dining experience -- a five star rating is truly an understatement. Don't miss this gem!

PRO: Good location in the centre of Spoleto; the restaurant is in an ancient building with stone walls and vaults. The food is simply divine: we tried several dishes, they were original with no excesses, every ingredient was well balanced, very tasty but not heavy at all. Desserts (pastiera, torta caprese and ricotta ice-cream) were delicious! The wine (Sagrantino di... More

From the complimentary amuse bouche to the complimentary bite sized desserts, and everything in between, the food in this restaurant was creative, high quality, and delicious. I started with a black celery soup with cream cheese brulee and truffle coulis while my husband started with cannelloni with rabbit ragu. Both were fabulous! I then had a duck confit with sweet... This is a truly "don't miss" restaurant if you're in Spoleto or nearby town. My wife and I are real "foodies" and this was one of the best meals we've ever had -- for a mere 100 euros (including 2 bottles of wine). Primi: -- Tagliatelle with black truffles (astounding!) -- Gnocchi with ragu (good) Secondi: -- Ossobuco “my way”... More
