Great location near the Duomo. The rabbit was wonderful as well as the pasta with mushrooms. The wine was great and grilled veggies perfect, not too done. I'd go back for more rabbit tomorrow but they are closed. Truly yours, Tina

The town of Montepulciano is littered with good restaurants, so it takes some real effort to stand out among the competition. Ai Quattro Venti does stand out in a friendly, competent, delicious, unassuming way. Nice, energetic and youthful staff backed up by a great kitchen equal flavourful roast duck, succulent roast pork, fresh and crispy salads, local Vino Nobile di... More

Stopped here for lunch while spending a full day in Montepulciano. Wife had rabbit and I had the duck. Wonderful food a reasonable prices. Service was attentive and friendly. Is located on the main piazza. Being a cold day, dined inside, but there is outside seating as well.

Had a wonderful dinner, the staff was very friendly, and dealt with our poor Italian wonderfully. Many great dishes, as well as dessert. Priced right, and would definitely return again.

This is a lovely restaurant. Attentive service, good food and reasonably priced (50 euros dinner for two with a half of house white and a quarter of red). Hey, this isn’t the euro at 85 cents, this is the euro at $1.35…whose fault is that? Not St Francis of Assisi. We went there twice.

We ate here twice during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the food at reasonable prices. Highly recommend it for a casual dinner.

We made a reservation to eat at this restaurant as a recommendation from the owner of our bed and breakfast. She told us that this was the place that she would go to eat... where the locals go. While it is not fancy, you can expect and out of this world food experience. There was one woman who was managing... More

As in previous reviewer said this place was unfriendly. How unfriendly? It was the worst in our entire trip to Italy! The waitress, who appears to be one of the owners, turned us away the first night we attempted to dine there. She LITERALLY closed the door in front of us and shook her head no. Wow. Never had that... More

We dined here only because we had no other choice, and it was mistake of the day! Very unfriendly atmosphere, arrogant waitresses and most important very expensive compare to places 50 meter away down in Via Teatro! It wasnt even tasty! Rip off!
