Poor service and average food. There are much better places in Lipari. Try Al Pescatore by the smaller of the two marinas where we ate superb food.
A hidden place attended by locals mostly. But since the locals know where to eat, we gave it a shot. And it was an excellent choice! The staff is nice but not overstated but the food was delicious! Our starter - fish poker - was spectacular! And then it was only getting better. Don't miss spaghetti midnight! It was that... More
I had to accommodate 2 hungry children that demanded pizza with a need to watch the opening game of the premier league ( they have sky HD)! Totally surprised by not just the service which was incredibly friendly and patient but also the pizza which was one of the best I have ever had in Italy. The choice and taste... More
Friendly service, staff who are interested in how you are finding the food, delicious fresh seafood/fish and several freebies offered for good measure. A delightful little place and I'd happily return.

We ate here twice and found both food and service very good (although it helps to have some Italian). Family-run trattoria with no pretensions and good shellfish dishes. We ate at lunchtime when it was very quiet; probably more of a pizza place in the evenings.
We ordered pasta with sword fish ans grilled octopus. Pasta was over salted and fish overcooked. Octopus wasnot tasty at all. The texture was dodgy and i am still wondering whether it was not fresh or badly cooked. We didnt even finish half of the plate but the waiter didnt bother asking if something was wrong. Very disapointing
This summer I was vacationing with my boyfriend at Lipari, an finding good restaurants at decent prices was not so easy. We found this little "jam" on our last evening there and were really impressed by the quality of the food. The staff was helpful in helping us choose from the menu and the portions were...abundant, to say the least.... More
