We were with a group of 10 and the were great with the serice and I enjoyed the food and a very friendly wine list
We dined outside at the tables set up along a little side street by the water. Excellent Antipasto Siciliano and pasta. They were very busy and set up a few extra tables to accommodate us and another party that was waiting.
Looking round for a suitable place for a final lunch in Cefalu, we decided on this place on a whim and were sorry we had not found it sooner. The swordfish was absolutely brilliant and the chocolate pudding was really "death by chocolate"!! Location was great looking out on to the bay and the staff were friendly and efficient -... More
Spent a long time perusing the menu before choosing, lets face it all the restaurant menus are very similar. BUT nothing seemed to jump out at you. Finally chose sea bass which was very nice but no different to other restaurants. The big difference was the staff, this was a family run place and with mama and grandmamma on the... More
I found the menu to be uninspired, touristy and bland. There was nothing outstanding with this restaurant. The staff was equally disappointing. We were in Cefalú for a week and this meal was at the bottom of the barrel all the way around. There are better establishments to choose from, I wouldn't bother with this one again. Perhaps the tour... More
Maurizio, the owner/manager (?) of the restaurant greeted us as though we were old friends as we had chatted briefly when I had made a res. from NY after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor and Frommer's. I wanted a place with local charm and great food and this restaurant certainly delivered. We ate on a small cross street that was... More
We were able to get squeezed into this popular restaurant. There is lots of ambiance here with the little overhead lights and cobblestone streets. We had a bottle of Prosecco and devoured our delicious pasta - capers, olives, anchovies - full of flavour. Service was also excellent.
Tables set in a cobbled street towards the sea with interesting lamp posts for lighting. Immediate friendly welcome which continued with efficient service and a genuine effort to please. Children made very welcome with a menu choice to suit their demands! Some interesting Sicilian dishes on offer, good fish - sea bass and sword fish are recommended -and a good... More
Very quick and elegant service. I love their mussel-soup, the seabass, pasta with seafood. I heard from other tables compliments to their pizzas. Very popular place. We have eaten there 3 times, always i saw people waiting for a free table, because it is always full and desired! They prepared even extra tables because of that. And made it very... More
Went here twice, once on a very busy night and both times we were quickly seated and received friendly and very efficient service. We really enjoyed all our meals. Good sized portions and very very good quality food. Pasta meal- Linguine antica corte- was delicious so much so that my husband took from my plate on the first visit and... More
