Firstly our waitress was the only saving grace, generally attentive, polite and friendly. We enjoyed most of the food. But very disappointed with lack of local cider, poorly kept ale which I struggled to drink. This restaurant is run by very friendly staff and the food is delicious. you can tell they know their food and care about their menu. Wouldn't think twice about coming here again!.

Nice former pub, which hasn't lost its character. The food and service was very good, considering it was Sunday lunchtime. The owner made a point of being visible and approachable to everyone. A great experience, which we will repeat without hesitation, but perhaps next time if its a bitterly cold day again, we will try to get a table away... More
