From the telephone call to make the booking, through to information about the fish on the menu, where they were caught, how they are cooked, the owner was very helpful and attentive. The food was very very good. I would recommend this restaurant to one and all

Outstanding restaurant in the town center of a unique North Devon seaside resort, just a block off the harbor. An intimate but bright and cheery dining room. Simple seafood, freshly caught, superbly prepared, attractively presented. For dessert, try the Irish coffee with Devonshire cream. It's a family affair, with Tara in charge of the dining room and her husband in... More

We really wanted this family run seafood restaurant to deliver but the evening was ruined by the external door which was left open for much of the evening. The restaurant has a ventilation issue so the door is opened to clear the air with no thought given to diners sitting in its draught. Such a pity as the food was... More

Me and my partner found the restaurant by accident. It is a small cosy place with just a few tables, very homely. The food was fresh and tasted amazing. We had the scallop starter and crab cakes followed by the best mussels in Cider and Seabream. We are definitly going back the next time we visit Ilfracombe.

Excellently cooked and presented fish. Service good. Music a bit dreary and loud; Nat King Cole and Sinatra are fantastic, but their lesser known numbers were only for true believers

We found this lovely little restaurant purely by chance. The food we had couldn't be faulted and the same can be said of the staff. It was the best meal we've had out in ages in a place that was full of charm. The menu was simple and they excel in seafood. The starters we had (crab cakes and scallops)... More
