I visited this restaurant today for the second time. Once again the service & food were excellent. My first visit was April 2012 so I was unsure if it would be as good second time round. We were greeted by the very friendly owner, he quickly welcomed my puppy too! He brought him out some water without me asking. I... More

Great environment, friendly service, nice homemade scones especially with the raspberry preserves! Can give it a try by buying their homemade preserves which only cost 3 pounds each =)

We popped in by chance after a very damp river cruise across Windermere for a hot drink. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and couldn't resist a scone as they looked so nice. They were served with a choice of jam and cream and were absolutely huge! Excellent service and yummy food, it's a shame we live so far away!!

A lovely little place with great friendly staff. Cherry scones were fantastic, and freshly baked when we arrived so a great welcoming smell!

Walking past the tea room we couldn't resist the look of the scones. And they were delicious. We had a reasonably priced cream tea which was just what we needed on a cold and snowy day.

We were made to feel very welcome despite the restricted menu available, presumably as it was a Tuesday afternoon in March. The soup and pie were hot and tasty and the cherry scones as a cream tea were fabulous. Tea, hot and topped up. Great as it was freezing out.

We visited this cafe for a hot drink and then couldn't resist the freshly baked scones which were absolutely gorgeous! The waiter was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely worth a visit!
