This pub was recommend to me, it's better than a Witherspoons you still order the same way but the atmosphere is better. Tomatoe sauce comes in a bottle and it's hienz. We visited on a Saturday evening as we were staying nearby, it was very busy early evening (around 19.00 hrs) but soon thinned out. A vast menu to choose from and many offers such as buy one meal get one free. The food was average but typical of this sort of establishment.

After reading the previous reviews we were a little sceptical. But we found the pub to be very welcoming, good value (2 for 1) and nice staff. Tables were nicely laid out, good menu, excellent value and very clean. We are looking forward to returning.... Big Nose Colchester
