We visited the Crown while staying in the area and were struck by the friendly atmosphere (staff and customers alike) The food and the service were excellent.

Went here to have lunch late saturday afternoon. The pub is very nicely decorated and was very comfortable. Lady behind the bar was very pleasant and helpfull. .....and still as good. I can't really think of anything else to say that hasn't already been said by the other reviewers. The waitress was lovely, and the food was of a very good standard. So give it a go if you're in the area, but I would book first.

After reading review on the site, we visited during our stay in Lymington. The food was brilliant, the atmosphere was cosy and the service was very attentive. All in all making for a very pleasant evening.

We have visited this pub on numerous occasions because we have family in the village and have never been disappointed. Mostly we go at weekends and usually choose the Sunday Lunch because it's such high quality and a generous serving with tasty vegetables which are cooked to perfection. Lovely friendly staff and owner and the beer's good too.
