I ate in this restaurant last friday...believe me when I say the food ,service and ambiance was the best I have ever encountered. Guests are expected to arrive before 8pm,the menu involves a tasting menu with 8-9 courses....superb,try it.Cost 65 euro pp. More

What a great place, third time staying, we will be back again and again again! Perfect hosts, perfect service, perfect food. Only problem was Ireland lost the rugby, which some of us had got up at 6.30 to watch! You can't have everything but you can have quite a lot at the convent More

The food is superb. The staff is caring and totally concerned with your comfort and enjoyment. The owners, Dermot and Christine Gannon, make you feel like special guests in their home. The guest kitchen, with free drinks and snacks, is a wonderful touch. They have some lovely donkeys in their field that are always happy to see guests. You will... More

I've eaten here a couple of times and have never been disappointed. Both times it was a tasting menu: 8 courses for €60 pp if memory serves, and even though it's on the expensive side, particularly once you factor in wine, it's worth it for a special occasion or celebration. The food was interesting and every course tasted fantastic. With... More

The dining room has been refurbished since we were last there and isnt overly fussy on decor which I like... More

Great stay in the place, the proprietress is very welcoming and professional. She even carried my wifes' bags up the stairs. Beautiful room and grounds. The great service stops in the dining room. The food is hard to beat anywhere in Tipp, but the food was dropped at the table without any explanation of the dish, and the servers move... More

Without a doubt one of the best eating experiences in Tipperary!!! Dermot Gannon is a superb chef with a passion for food and Christine is the perfect hostess!! The B&B is such a treat, amid all the boring rooms available, this is a gem!!!!! More
