An excellent culmination of food service and atmosphere; on average I'd image about £40-60 a head for a 3 course meal including a bottle of wine to share. A definite must for anyone in the local area.

A great place to meet up with some friends and or family, the restaurant suits all ages whether for breakfast, lunch or an evening meal. I met up with friends for some breakfast, just before a round of golf at the local public course in Panshanger, Welwyn Garden City. (2mins away)
As a guest at a wedding, the scenery was ideal. The bar was very expensive, but was to be expected. Did not stay in the accommodation, but from other guests was told was nice. Staff were friendly.
Booked on the spur of the moment on a chilly bank holiday Monday, was lucky to to be able book a table for four at 10am for 3pm. It is a very modern and clean restaurant, the afternoon tea is very filling and the staff very polite and helpful, we will try to go back again for a meal and...

Having eaten here on and off for years we are never dissapointed. The current Chef produces beautiful food and delivers every time on taste. If you have allergies you will not be made to feel uncomfortable and the diishes can be adjusted.
Tewin Bury Barns is easy to find on the B1000 and only a short distance from the A1(M) Junction 6.
Our afternoon tea started with a class of champagne (or at least that is what we paid for, the waitress said it was Prosecco than quickly corrected herself) - the fudge that accompanied it was divine.
The tea itself consisted...

We got a dry afternoon and sat under a large umbrella and were brought several tier trays to accompany our teas.
Beautiful selection and nice, relaxed location.
to be repeated.

It would seem, from reading the other reviews, that there is a chance that you will not be disappointed by this restaurant. Sadly we were.
The arranger of our dinner had requested that champagne be provided on arrival. After all the guests had arrived and still no champagne it only appeared after reminding them. It took them 30 minutes to...

the food here is gorgeous, service very attentive, tables are a little cramped but atmosphere is warm and inviting, lovely country setting especially in summer,my sister got married here a few years ago and it was the most fabulous day.
Fooled by the menu on the website and beautiful photography I have come for lunch expecting something if not remarkable then at least pleasant; but my expectations were crudely squashed by bad service and mediocre overpriced food. Our table waited for my order to be taken for about ten minutes while a waiter was fiddling around the table next to...

We were sorry to read that you were clearly disappointed with your experience at this restaurant, firstly we must question if you are reviewing The Restaurant at Tewin Bury Farm as we do not have a baguette on our menu that comes with salad and chips! Our baguettes are cooked freshly here and are quite substantial, therefore they come with...
