I live close by so this was probably my tenth visit in as many years. The standards have always been high and I was pleased to find they've been maintained. The menu is varied with most diners able to find courses to suit their pallet : always provided they like cuisine from the sub-continent, of course! The food is well... More

They stopped the free pickle tray, have had many above inflation price increases. I think they are pricing themselves out of the market, going for an Italian is cheaper! I feel exploited after dining at the Aagrah

We have been going to shabana since it opened. Unfortunately I had a Lamb Tikka Massala tonight which was very poor. The sauce was like a hot slushie and just as sweet. The lamb was like shoe leather overall very dissappointing. Previously I have never had a bad meal here.

After reading reviews on here I was a little unsure about Aagrah but I went with a fairly open mind. When we arrived 2 of party hadn't yet turned up. We were seated in the waiting area, it was nice n warm, we were given menus and not rushed anywhere. Our extra guest turned up and we proceeded to our... More

Went to this restaurant in the middle of the bad weather we had. Understandably, some of their staff had not been able to make it in becasue of the snow. We arrived and there were alot of people milling around the reception area waiting to be seated, ad it was FREEZING! The main doors were wide open and everytime someone... More

Aagrah used to be the place to go. Food quality was great and good atmosphere. I tried the wakefield branch after many years of not going, mainly due to ignorant service. I can say that hasn't changed, but even worse - the food quality for us at least was way below par. Like the Garforth branch, I found the waiters... More

Quite literally just finished a takeaway from this restaurant and can honestly say a tesco value curry made with horse meat would have been more palatable. We waited for our food to arrive, people who ordered after us got served quicker which was odd, but we continued to wait whilst the waiting staff chatted and tool pictures of each other... More
