We went here today for a change from the Greenery. We will definately be back. Not a big restaurant, but nice seating. The food here is excellent, with a really interesting and varied menu. The staff are always friendly and helpful, It is well worth looking at the food hall adjacent under the same ownership. I recommend the Hambone unreservedly.

Called in for Lunch after a trip up the Great Orm. God selection of meals. Good portions. Well cooked. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. All in all a very pleasent experience. Not the place for candle lit dinner. Called in the following day to pick up sandwiches for the trip home. Plenty of filling, not all salad like so many are.... More

Clean , value for money and a menu that you can tell the chef knows his onions, quirky dishes that... More

Overpriced breakfast and small quantity as well. I felt as though I was having a diabetic meal. Not sure about lunch and dinner.

Went there today with my family and it was lovely.Place was busy but we were seated immediately. I had the lobsgows(welsh spelling!) which was better than my mum used to make.It was hot tasty and so full of meat. It was served with beetroot or red cabbage which was a nice touch. My little grand daughter had the 'fish fingers'... More
