I had the risotto at the Cottage Loaf and it was gorgeous. It was slightly more expensive than I would normally pay but it was worth it.

I had a very nice meal here tonight.having indulged in an afternoon tea (as a late lunch) I choose prawns and lamb koftas to follow.most of the meals that came out were massive but all looked good.fortunately the prawns were a good portion and had to be peeled, not a problem for me as have done it many times before... First of all, after reading a comment left by someone who clearly cannot judge quality food when they see it, the food is by far from frozen. Everything is homecooked. Lovely place, food is gorgeous and presented beautifully. Service is fantastic and prices, i think are very reasonable for fresh and local produce. Love The Cottage Loaf... A MUST VISIT.

This is an interesting historic pub (previously a bakery, with bits of a shipwreck incorporated into the structure). The food was at the good end of pub food, well-executed (my main gripe would be that my Thai-style mussels lacked any sort of chilli kick, which was a shame); the home-made bakewell pudding was notably good, though. There were 3 well-kept... More

It is the first time we have eaten at the loaf since its recent make over. We had a great meal, good quality an sizeable pub grub. The service is good, they seem to have some new members of staff who are very good. Would highly recommend, probably the best pub in Llandudno and this has only be reinforced with... More

Been to this pub maybe half a dozen times now and always have a lovely meal. Normally its for lunch and its just 100% every time. Its an order at the bar service and give your table number which is ok but I would prefere informal waiter service and it would also I believe generate some tips for the kitchen... More

We just called in for a drink and the place was crammed. Now that in my opinion is a good sign. It shows its popularity. The staff were excellent. Well mannered and efficient even during the busiest periods. We didn't eat but wish we had when we saw the food passing our table. Next time it will be for lunch... More

Good pub, good pub food and great atmosphere hidden away around the corner from the rather lousy W**therspoons.
