This place is like a drug, a good one :P You need to go there at least once at week ^^ Inari and makimono, great great great
I wanted to enjoy good Japanese food in Vienna but was very much disappointed. I felt stomach ache after eating there. Perhaps from not fresh ingredients. Also staff was Chinese like me.
How this place can get so many positive reviews is beyond me. One can clearly see that there are severe hygiene issues upon entering this place. The sushi chef is clearly not Japanese: The way he handles food would not be acceptable in any Japanese restaurant. The selection is good but what is all of that worth when you leave... More
You cannot believe in a such small place to find the best sushi in Vienna. The place is minuscule 4/5 seats and not really comfortable but the sushi you get is unforgettable. Japanese people come here and important musicians as well. The cut of sashimi is unbelievable, the nigiri amazing. Better sushi only in Tokyo!! Absolutely to try!
This is NOT a restaurant, just a small hole in the wall sushi snack-bar with only a few seats very close to Naschmarkt in Vienna. Quality as well as quantity was great. The sushi was fresh and tasted excellent, almost like in Japan. Very reasonable prices and much better than the usual Chinese-Indian-Mexcian-Sushi you will get at Naschmarkt. Nothing for... More
We ate here during our trip in August 2013. It was fantastic. We chose some Kojiro platter with an assortment of sushi and sashimi. The sashimi was in thick pieces and it was delicious. The sushi and sashimi was fresh and the price is cheaper than what we expect for the amount and type of sushi we were eating. We... More
I got sick two hours after eating sushi there. The restaurant did not look clean and tidy at the first impression. Because I trusted the reviews on tripadvisor, I sat down and ordered a sushi set. But the sickness with fever and diarrhea proved that I was completely wrong. I have eaten thousands of sushi in different countries in my... More
Kojiro has actually 2 restaurants, one also on Kühnplatz 4. Excellent food, excellent sushis, good service... and very reasonable prices! An excellent address, we will go back there
Great quality, FRESH sushi. The food here is traditional, don't expect to see funky rolls slathered with mayo with fried stuff in it. The place is extremely small, they only have around 6-7 seats. Prices are very reasonable, and they also give you unlimited rice tea.
This hidden gem does not olny belong to a 100% Japanese family who runs it with pride, courtesy and enthusiasm... The fish is fresh, the quality of the sushi really reflects the authentic technique, it is not a cheap chinese imitation. It's a sushi bar, so do not expect a fancy restaurant. But being so simple, cozy and friendly, they... More
