The Restaurant Imperial is a classic old-school restaurant which is perfect for both Romantic meals and for special occasions. We had dinner there prior to attending a concert and both the service and food was immaculate. The waiters were extremely professional and attentive, and the sommelier was very knowledgeable. The wine was not too expensive either. The food is quite... More

A classic restaurant matching the Grand Hotel style . Service with style. The menu is traditional with class. But I think youngsters will look for different style.

Great food, great presentation, very leisurely service. A good place to go if you aren't in a hurry.

We were in this restaurant for dinner and it was really great. The food was excellnt, wine delicious, atmosphere nice and the service was very good. The personal was really helpful tool- I am a vegetarien, so they helped me find something special for me.  We both were satisfied and I am pretty sure, we come back soon.

The restaurant deserves to be tried starting with the welcoming until the time you leave. We have booked a dinner table with my family and enjoyed every second with pleasure. We were not dressed like the other guests unfortunately but were not treated like an ordinary person also. The menu was satisfactory for all ages and the wine menu was... More

My third visit here turned out just as pleasant as my earlier visits in this marvelous restaurant, probably the most beautiful, I have ever visited. Service is attending and superb, the dinner and wine top class and we enjoyed every second spend here. This year, I started our wonderful evening with the most perfect glass of Kir Royal followed by... More

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday evening following a last minute booking. Whilst we were probably underdressed....(we were in jeans whereas many other diners were more formally attired) the welcome was warm and the service outstanding. We had a lovely table (the pictures on the website do not really do it justice as the paintings and surroundings are rich... More

Overall nothing to complain about, great service the staff bend over backwards to accommodate your needs, the food was great and the local wines suggested were amazingly good. The patisserie chef could improve his deserts to make them A little lighter and more exciting less old school style...

We stayed at the Hotel Imperial, and decided to eat here after discovering (to our disappointment) the utter dearth of good food in Austria. We thought we would take advantage of being in such a historic city and enjoy a fancy meal. In other words, we gave up and ate hotel food. And it was actually very enjoyable. The decor... More
