Nothing special! Average food, average service, average atmosphere and definitely not good value for money.

I was dining alone on my first night in Vienna and EF16 was near my hotel. I peeked in hoping to relax with a glass of wine and a nice dinner after a long day of traveling and exploring the city. The staff at EF16 is very friendly and welcoming. After a brief explanation of some items on the menu... More
We had traditional Viennese food here. The restaurant is small, has a bar and sells wine. The menu is brief and to the point. Prices are reasonable and the staff speak good English. Children are welcome during the day, but we don't known how welcome they are at night.
We tried to go to Figlmuller off the back of tripadvisor reviews but the queue was massive and the staff were really rude so we asked our hotel for a recommendation for a place to go for a good schnitzel and they recommended EF16. We're so glad we waited and didn't waste our time anywhere else. This is a fantastic... More
The food was excellent, the courtyard was small, quite and lovely and the wine list was excellent. What else do you need?
Tucked into the end of a short walkway that ends in a courtyard surround by a vine covered apartment building is the home of this very nice restaurant. I wanted to have Wiener schnitzel and they have a choice of veal or pork. I had the veal. Very good! My wife had the pumpkin ravioli. Another excellent choice. Very friendly... More
This was a highlight meal of our two week trip. The waitstaff are so friendly and helpful and speak great English. We enjoyed a great bottle of wine. We had the potato soup and mushroom risotto as appetizers. Both excellent. Then, we enjoyed the traditional Viennese roast beef with schnitzel and beef with mashed potatoes as entrees. So tasty! This comfy little restaurant is but a 5 minute walk from the centre of town and serves great authentic Viennese food. The food is plentiful, the wine list is adequate and the waiting staff are helpful and very friendly. We ate there multiple times John R
This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. Lovely courtyard - definitely best to sit outside on a warm night. The food was good and traditional with helpful staff whose recommendations were good for first timers in Vienna. He restaurant is mid priced and a pleasant way to spend an evening.
