My family was in Vienna just after Christmas and tired of schnitzel and beer, came to Tian on the recommendation of tripadvisor. The youngest in our family is 12 and while this is a fairly grown up place, it was really the favorite restaurant of all our family. The space was fresh and lovely. The service was warm and attentive.... More

This place is simply great, it start with the service which is very both proffesional and friendly and end with sophisticated dishes with good taste. i would recommend to take the 4 or 5 courses and come hungry. i think the prices are OK though its not a cheap place. dont forget to reserve a table as they are sometimes... It was well below the expectations, created to be fair by its high ranking; the main problem seems lack of clear idea of what the restaurant should serve: tasting menu of small portions, a regular one, still something else. Even more important, the resolute choice of vegetarian only menu would be great if the ability of chef to explore fully... More

This restaurant is simply perfect. It's located in the city centre but in a quiet area. The food is excellent and the stuff is really kind. I had my perfect lunch in the table a outside the restaurant cuz' it was summer and I liked the atmosphere. If you decide to go there, take the bread selection served with Alps... More

We had heard great things so I booked a table early for our long weekend in Vienna. At Tian, the setting was lovely and the service was excellent. But, I wasn't overwhelmed with the food. The portions were small and, although the ingredients were exotic, the taste was just middling. Aesthetically, the plates were very interesting. The ending cheese service... More

We had a fantastic four course meal. Staff were very friendly. The inventiveness of the food and enthusiasm of the staff made it a great experience.

This is my second review, after we revisited the restaurant after some time. This time, next to nothing went according to expectations and we recommend to stay away from Tian until things change for the better. Except for a still good food quality, many things went wrong - and I think this reflects a new direction in operating the restaurant.... More

This was our first trip to Tian and we cannot wait until we go again. Superb food, presentation, and service. We had the mushroom soup which offered one of the most unique presentations and the risotto which was off the charts. We cannot say enough about this place. Just a wonderful place!

We ate lunch at this beautiful restaurant that is perfect for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The lunch menu is a la cart or a two or three course special for 14 or 16 euros pp. It is a very romantic and organic atmosphere filled with soft light and plants. Our lunch was excellent!
