One of the oldest cafes in Helsinki situated in the heart of the city. Nice breakfast buffet with fresh bread, eggs, cold cuts, cheese and pastries.

I can put 4th grade onto this lovely place. We went to there very early morning just after they opened it. Did not have breakfast buffet but have Cinnamon roll and coffee. Helsinki style Cinnamon roll was big enough for breakfast of japanese old guy like me. Also it was tasty. I love to be here this cozy place again... More

This is the oldest cafe in Helsinki with a friendly service and wonderful atmosphere. Great cakes, pastries and Danish. The breakfast buffet is very popular and it may be difficult to find a free table in the morning. But it is worth trying.

We whizzed past this place on the bus tour. The audio guide said it was the oldest cafe/konditori in Helsinki. Any excuse to have a cake and I am there. The decor is Finnish art nouveau and it still has the old wooden in out doors, very charming. The buffet was very popular, but as vegetarians we opted for a... More

This cafe is rather expensive with pastries costing more than 5 Euros or sandwiches up to 15 Euros. The price of the breakfast buffet, in comparison to these prices, is reasonable taking into account what is served: good choice of breads, ham, cheese, salmon, porridge, eggs, juice, cereals, yoghurt and pastries. Coffee included in the price, 17,80€ in the weekends.... More

This lovely cafe is one of the oldest cafes in Helsinki. It is located on a street called Boulevard and walking distance from the centre. It has very nice athmosphere with table service the old fashioned way. If you want to relax in a sophisticated surrounding this is the place to be. Next to the cafe they have their bakery,... More

One of my favourite breakfast places in Helsinki. It has gotten quite expensive but it's still very much worth it. Fresh pastries, cold cuts, porridge, yogurt, bread, cakes and of course coffee and tea. Excellent stuff. Staff can give you a bit of a cold shoulder sometimes, but just shrug it off. Elegant surroundings and newspapers available while you're sipping... More

Good location. Delicious pastries. Perhaps before there were waiters but when I was, it was self-service. This is very handy if you hurry somewhere.

Thanks to tripadvisor i found this small cafe to have breakfast while i was waiting for a meeting to begin. I tasted here the best cappuccino i ever had!! They serve really good quality of coffee and you think it is home made... Also i loved the cakes and the other sweets i tasted. Great for breakfast! Totally recommended.

Loved the Frederika cake, everything else looked so interesting, too bad I couldn't try them all. Also tried the buns they have in Feb (like the Swedish)- different from the Swedish Semla because it has jam in it and cinammon in the buns- which weren't as nice as the frederikas. We also called a mocha and chai and they were... More
