Margaritas were excellent. After great first drink it get little dull. We had four different portions- they all tasted same, too much coriander. Would I go again? No, I don´t think so.

Service was very good! Food did not impress. Ate starters: the ceviche was way too salty and the soup was dull.

Patrona is well located restuarant offering Mexican fare in the center of Helsinki. While they serve "mean" margaritas, the food overall left a lot to be desired... spicy enough to qualify for Mexican label; the flavours were not really authentic. ...and its pricey too!

The food was really good and authentic, I especially liked the lamb tacos. The margaritas were also good-- I had a mango margarita with a salt/chili rim. I had high expectations when entering the restaurant. I have to admit that interior was fascinating and genuine Mexican - I loved the place. This we have been waiting for years since restaurant Mexicana closed it's doors. Genuine Mexican food without a hint of Tex-Mex. Small but big enough menu to give you choices. We had a family dinner with small grand-children. The welcome and service were very friendly, and the Margaritas excellent. No doubt the food was fairly genuinely Mexican, but unfortunately very adapted and not particularly special. Even the hottest sauce was barely fiery, and other sauces very mild.
