Description: The Brasserie Godot is a modern restaurant with a brasserie atmosphere. The kitchen serves a combination of traditional Swedish home cooking and French classics. How about snails provençale to start; a main course of cod baked in herbs with petits pois à la française; and rose hip soup with vanilla ice cream and nut croquant for dessert? The menu also features an excellent selection of shellfish. Brasserie Godot is situated on Grev Turegatan in Stockholm, a stone's throw from Stureplan.

Fantastic food, great service, and a light roomy dining area. The bar is excellent with an extensive wine list, including wine by the glass. I started out tasting a white wine that was just so-so, but the server listened to my comment and brought two other whites for me to try. Excellent. Plenty of food, the presentation was wonderful, and... More

Cocktail bar/restaurant with french ambitions. Very nice drinks! If you're into the sour kind like me, try a Godot Crushed or a Passion Fruit Martini. On the minus side, they have no sparkling, only Taittinger and the white wine we tried was totally tasteless - our complaints about this were ignored. Overall: on of the best places for cocktails in... More

We loved so many things in Godot. Their kitchen really knows what they're doing - amazingly delicious food made of freshest ingredients possible. The waitress was very professional yet cool and relaxed. She helped us to find perfect wines for our dishes. Many of the great wines were served by the glass. Really liked the place, got to get back... More

Charming French bistro in a residential section of Stockholm. A bit off the beaten path for tourists, which I liked. Very good French bistro food. We ate outside, which was a good choice given the weather.

The Bistro is a gem of a spot just a couple of blocks from the Elite Eden Hotel. Outside dining was lovely (except for the smokers), and the continental food was deliciously prepared with the finest ingredients and the presentation was very creative. The indoor decor looked lovely and would be very appealing on a cooler evening.

The restaurant has a bar part and a rather small restaurant part. But it offers great french inspired food and a long wine list. The atmosphere is a bit like a french family run restaurant. I really recommend this restaurant.

Had a fantastic meal with the most tender and perfectly cooked entrecote of veal I think I've ever had. The desert was both innovative (mint chocolate ravioli!), beautiful to look at and very tasty. Will come back, and also spend some more time in the nice bar.

You have to go here if you're in Stockholm. I go here every time, and have brought friends, family and colleagues. Everyone is always blow away by the food, even my super fussy foodie family and the wine is also sublime. The atmosphere is perfect, the prices suit every one and it is centrally located. What more could you want?... More

A fun, modern Swedish brasserie to visit for dinner. Excellent interior design, very cool, minimal, a bit off-beat. The food is what it is, homemade, not challenging, especially, their main dish of meatballs. Affordable selection of wines. One cannot go wrong dining here; they have an inspiring bar lounge to visit, too.

The oysters we had were of OK quality, but definitely one of the worst in terms of freshness. Main course of a rib-eye veal steak also OK. They try to squeeze as many tables as possible without giving customers any personal space. Unless you come with a group of more than two, there would be no chance a get a... More
