Appetizers are tasty and various. Cocktails are good too! Service could have been a bit faster. Nice place to start an evening.
Not us. Welcomed in the door and shown to a table in a stylish traditional cafe. Menu was good enough that a quick stop turned into lunch. Excellent smiling device - quick, but not so quick that we didn't feel welcome. All-in-all a nicer than expected experience and one we will repeat on future Copenhagen trips. Thanks to the staff.
Went with a very friend who harbored good memories of ambience and food. Admittedly a Sunday night, but ambience was decidedly thin on the ground. Only three tables occupied, but service still painfully slow. Both had Tournedos, thinking can't go wrong with simple, grilled meat, but the chef managed to overcook it and then to serve it tepid - that... More
This was my second time at Cafe Sommersko, the first time being 9 years ago! Easily accessible from Norreport Station and Kongens Nytorv station, tucked in one of those charming narrow streets, Cafe Sommersko impresses you in the very first look. Very spacious cafe with a classic look to interiors. Service was not very impressive. The waiter came in with... More
The Copenhagen classic 'pariserbøf' that, according to tradition, should be a surface-fried tartare proved to be over-cooked and luke warm. Nice, but slooooow service. My advice: Stop by for a drink. Avoid the food.
Dear Peder Thanks for submitting feedback here on TripAdvisor Sorry to hear about your experience with us. You are certainly right - steak tatar / pariserbøf should not be served well-done (unless specifically requested). I will send your feedback to our head chef and let our manager know about the service. Best regards Kristian Cafe Sommersko More
I had a burger and a beer. The service vas a bit slow, but i liked the food very much. The had a guy playing the piano - good entertainment.
I used to be a regular at this once fab café. Yesterday, I sat down for one of my fav quick snacks: a plate of big, chunky fries with Dijon mustard and remoulade. No sooner did I plunck my self down when I clearly overheard the nearby waitress exclain: "Oh gee, I feel really sick. I just threw up big... More
After sleeping in a little on Sunday morning we headed for this restaurant for breakfast. I had it on my list of places I found on Trip Advisor that I wanted to check out. We arrived at 10:45 and sat down, 15 minutes later the waiter came to us to take our order, we were not very hungry so we... More
My best brunch for a long time, deliciuos and very tasty. Bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, cheese and fruit, pancakes, jam and yogurt, and only €8. Very modern interior and a charming, french waiter. Ohlala....
