Went here with a large group (called ahead) . Food was great, server was excellent. Manager seemed not to like us. Excellent food though.

We went in this cozy restaurant by pure chance, the decor, neatness and the welcome were great. but when the amazingly delicious, well spiced and fresh food sat on our table, we knew we landed on a gem mine in Mechelen. by all means one of the best food we tasted in a long time!

Had dinner wirh my wife there and it was fresh, nicely presented and tasty food (full service with starter, main and dessert). The patron and his staff were very polite and friendly. The restaurant has a cozy and romantic atmosphere - really good for a tete-a-tete. Will definitively return.

Good, personal service, comfortable, relaxed athmosphere, very good food, nice selection of wines from which the waiter was happy to recommend - good choice. Quite touristic clientele and staff definitely very busy.

The Martinique is located right on the orginal Mechelen center on Korenmarket (the corn or grain market site).
