The restaurant is very dark, albeit cozy and the hostess is friendly. We ordered the mixed grill, which was very good and plenty to eat, especially meat. After the meal, we were offered cupcakes to celebrate the 2nd birthday of the hostess' dog.

Tiny restaurant, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food. We learned these are Greek family recipes passed down though generations and you could tell! If you like Greek food, seek this place out and enjoy!
I have been coming here since I was a little kid and I was in Amsterdam. Loes (hostess and owner) is a very nice friendly woman. The atmosphere is very nice and the tables and chairs sit like you are in Greece, which make the experience even better. The food is really good, they have a Greek cook who makes...

We had dinner here, based on reviews on another (Dutch) site. Here's summary of our experience.
The restaurant is small and has a homely feel about it. Besides the hostess there was no other personnel serving. There were also a cat (Bas) and dog (Olijfje). The cat is resident in the restaurant and is there to catch the mice (according...

Loes and her staff know how to make you feel home in the best Greek tradition. You won't get disappointed about the food either, the dishes have an authentic taste of Greek cuisine. Price is average
Alway a pleasure to eat here, the greek food is fresh and very authentic, good to eat lots of starters to share or excellent lamb or fish main courses. The service by Loes is always a pleasure, it is personal and cheerful, always a laugh. I could't recommend it more. just visit it once and you will come again and...

Many of the items on their menu are, or can be made gluten free, including many of the meats as they do not use soy sauce or wheat in theirlast marinades. Their salads were fresh and dinner was great but the service was painstakingly slow. We watched for 15 minutes while our (only) server sat with another table and talked,...

The food was really nice and the owner really available to suggest us about the different dishes. I have been in greece once and the food is exactly the same!!! We really enjoy the greek food! Amazing place closed to the city center. You can finish your dinner with ouzo or you can drink the original wine during your dinner.
A very small and cozy little restaurant in the quiet part of the Lange Leidsedwarsstraat, just offside the bustle and noise of the touristtraps in the Leidseplein area. You are welcomed by Loes who runs this place for years already, with loving care and a firm eye on the steady quality of the kitchen. Which is basic, tasteful, genuine, with...
