Very nice place, good scenery. Excellent food and very friendly service. Pricey, but not expensive by Zurich standards. Very good value.
I have been in this restaurant many times but start coming back more often now because the food and the service improved a lot. The fish and seafood are impressively fresh and keep the taste ( Zurich restaurants like to make everything over salty). And their tiramisu is much better than in many top italian restaurants.
Been traveling to/through Zurich for several decades on biz and fun and found the normal local cuisine rather lackluster. This time, we decided to try reading tripadvisor for dinner suggestions and it didn't disappoint us. Rather than finding another restaurant with a different version of a wurst and rosti special, we found the most wonderful Italian restaurant with fantastic fish... More
Prime spot but prices are actually reasonable for the value. Seafood is definitely the name of the game here. Really fresh and exceptionally well prepared. Only thing negative I can say from my visit is that if you serve plain white rice (overcooked) better leave it kitchen alltogether...
I received very attentive service as a single diner. The octopus roasted in olive oil were delicious, as was my perfectly deboned fresh trout. I never felt rushed, in fact I had to ask for the bill. Obviously a very popular place with the locals since the wait staff seemed to know half the people dining there.
Read the reviews and was not disappointed. Menu selection for fish was the best we found. Service was certainly at a different level than most. Nice attention to detail, serving you wine continually instead of all at once, or serving you 1/2 your portion at one time them serving you the rest. Nice touch. Wine list extensive, nice cab-sav, not... More
excellent Fish and the seefood salad as a starter was really fresh and savoury. There were 7 of us and everyone ordered something different - and all liked it ! Wine recommendation was also very good. Apparently you cannot make anything wrong here - even the Espresso was excellent
Our evening began with the scallop starter in a balsamic reduction sauce perfectly prepared and a crisp white Swiss Dezalay wine. I had a deboned, well presented, grilled sole and my best guy had baked pike perch. Both were the best fish We have tasted. They also have a display of very fresh fish to be cooked to your liking.... Best performance (service, food, ambience) has its price! But one is willing to pay since everything is top class. We tried grilled octopus as a starter and pasta with fish as a main course and it was simply delicious.
