Lively, atmospheric bistrot offering great steaks. Service can be a bit slow and the menu is only in French. Luckily I chose what I wanted, but it could be an issue for people not knowing what they want.

Sharing a menu with Swiss regional specialities are classic entrees from both France and Italy. There is a wine list to match, although you are better staying with the local reds and whites. The atmosphere buzzes (another way of saying that the volume can be a little excessive from time to time), and reservations are essential during the midday service....

Exactly this way - in good tempo, with absolutely positive atmosphere, swimming among waves of hilariousity of locals and warmth of the service. How they were excusing in front of my wife when I split the wine on table, the manager looks at his colleagues the same way as to the clients - with a smile and an interest.
Pleasure...

If you want to eat some good meat in a cozy atmosphere, this café is the best in Lausanne. We went there several times and each time have been impressed with the quality of the food and the service. All this for a very reasonable price! Definitely one of my favorite places in Lausanne.
This is definitely a great place to eat meat and specially raw meat like steak tartare. Not the best place in Lausanne but a great place even if atmosphere is more business based than brasserie
It is loud and lively. The food is simple brasserie dishes, mainly meat, fresh and perfectly executed. Try the fondue du vigneron (if you are not on diet...), a very nice surprise. The tartare is one of my favorite there as well.
the food is simple and good, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is warm and reminds really a fresh brasserie. and not as in many restaurants in switzerland, the service is good and the stuff is friendly. in many swiss restaurants you get the feeling your are guilty the minute you go in. in the trios roes, you feel welcome.
Are you in Lausanne? Go to the Les Trois Rois, very closed to the rail station of Lausanne. The food was very nice, the peopole as well and the restaurant it's in a brassery style. Make a reservation prior to go there, as it's always pretty fully booked.
This traditional brasserie near Lausanne train station is not the kind of place you want to go to show off, but to enjoy scrompcious meat and excellent wine in the cosy atmosphere. Owners warmly welcome guests and service is very good. The menu offers a very nice choice of meats and the wine list is excellent. Great place to invite...

We called here today around 5 and although the sign in the window said open from 11 to 2330, the place was closed. Disappointing!
