When someone suggested Grampi's as the final destination on our late night jaunt I felt a feeling in the pit of my stomach. The place looked unimpressive and slightly dingy from the outside. Inside however was a very different story. Despite a lot of customers we were served very promptly and quickly found seats. The HIGHLIGHT by far was a... More

The pub is average by most standards. Thou the service is quick. BUT they had this piano player there that rocked the place down. It was packed every night when he was playing. I think he plays almost every song ever written. half the time he's on his stool... way too much fun. Get there early to get a seat.... More

Totally not what I expected, great evening with live music from their residence musician. Was quiet in January but have been told that during the later spring months of the ski season, it's a real hip and happening place and I can totally imagine that's true!

The pizza restaurant upstairs was full so the waiter suggested that we ate in the bar; good by us as plenty of atmosphere and fewer kids. Fairly good service, friendly by Swiss standards, but the food was "average" and below what we were expecting. The salmon tagliatelle was in a bland tomato sauce, the grilled fish consisted of 3 shrimps,... More

This is one of the few places in Zermatt that you don't *need* a reservation during high season. The waitress was friendly, the food was very good, and the atmosphere was positive. You can watch sports on the TV in the bar area (skiing was on the night we were there). Average prices for entrees were between 25-35 CHF. However,... More

We stopped in for drinks on our last night in town and enjoyed our time at Grampis. We didn't order food, so I can't comment on that, but the bartenders were very friendly and even pointed us in the right direction to continue our evening. There were t.v.s showing soccer games and lots of groups of people of all ages... More

Just had dinner for 2 tonight - very ordinary. We had a shared antipasto mist plate (26 CHF) - pretty ordinary - we could not even eat some parts of it; we then shared a pizza which was also quite ordinary particularly at 27 CHF. There are much better value for money Italian restaurants in Zermatt. Wait-person did not do... More

In Zermatt for 4 nights and ate here probably 5 times. Was directed to this place by a nice policeman walking the street(not that they need any there)
