Totally not what I expected, great evening with live music from their residence musician. Was quiet in January but have been told that during the later spring months of the ski season, it's a real hip and happening place and I can totally imagine that's true!

After reading the tripadvisor reviews we felt we had to check out this bar. we felt it was average and so was the highly rated pizza.

This is one of the few places in Zermatt that you don't *need* a reservation during high season. The waitress was friendly, the food was very good, and the atmosphere was positive. We stopped in for drinks on our last night in town and enjoyed our time at Grampis. Just had dinner for 2 tonight - very ordinary. We had a shared antipasto mist plate (26 CHF) - pretty ordinary - we could not even eat some parts of it; we then shared a pizza which was also quite ordinary particularly at 27 CHF. In Zermatt for 4 nights and ate here probably 5 times. Was directed to this place by a nice policeman walking the street(not that they need any there)

We have been coming to Zermatt for a few years and this place never fails to deliver, the food is first class and Marco who plays the piano is legendry, he calls us his English friends and always plays "Sweet Caroline" for us to all join in....Well done Marco you great!!
