The weather in Zermatt was windy today so we stopped here for a drink on the way down the mountain. We sat in the red and white cabin on the terrace and enjoyed our drink. The waitress appeared very grumpy and accused me of using the toilet without buying any food or drink. Her attitude spoilt our otherwise pleasant visit.

This would have to be one of the best restaurants that I have ever visited. The service from Patrick and the quality of food make "Ried" number one for me! We will go back again to try the chocolate pudding in a glass before we leave. Thanks for a wonderful lunch in a very special place.

The best Restuarant I have come across in Zermatt!! Have been twice on this trip and the food and service is fantastic. Fantastic glühwein, the best I have tasted!! And the food is great. Beautiful soups, mains and desserts. Will definitely visit again!
