Occasionally fraught service when very busy, but this is my favourite lunch terrace in the area with fabulous hazy views on a sunny day, and normally pretty good food. Afterwards, if like many locals you don't do much skiing, you can lay on the deck chairs on the lower terrace. Quite special.

It is the only good restaurant situated on the slopes in Gstaad, neighbour to the Eagle Club. You can ski there or take the chairlift and walk... Good ambiance and excellent food, swiss or fusion food daily suggestions. The very best place to enjoy the sun & snow, very welcoming and not pretentious.

The Wasserngrat restaurant and terrace offers great, uncomplicated food, very friendly service in a spectacular setting. The terrace offers magnificent views on the Diableretsglacier and the village of Gstaad. The staff is very creative and loves to organize special events. You can book the restaurant even at night for dinner parties etc.
