Sitting outside in the late spring is wonderful. The food is upscale, cutting edge Indian. Be warned like a nice things in Geneva that you may have sticker shock

This is a very well appointed restaurant, located in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Geneva. They have valet parking which is very useful, particularly on a rainy night which was the case when we dined there. The setting is very plush, larger tables, good quality tableware, etc.. Service was very efficient, informative and friendly.
The food was of the highest...

Outstanding service and advice, expensive but worth it cuisine. The restaurant keeps a few tables for hotel-guests so even when full, with some insistence, they may find a table or two free!
Dear DJGeneva,

This was my second visit to Rasoi and it meet all my expectations. Great food, great service was little expensive but expected. Had the Spring menu which was fantastic, but as i am allergic to shellfish they substituted the lobster panna cotta and king crab chaat with the asparagus panna cotta which was very nice, but a bit of a...

Rasoi is a great restaurant in Geneva, located in a quiet place, with a nice decor, a caring staff and excellent food. The place is expensive so it is a restaurant for special occasions. It is not really a classic Indian restaurant where you go to have a dal or a chiken tikka. They have done their own original recipes...

Heard a lot about the Restaurant being a Michelin star rated place : frankly the location is great and so is the staff and food innovative but still lacks a little punch somewhere - Dal & Chicken were good n also the yogurt but still needs some more DESI authenticity etc. Im Sure U guys can do a better job!

Must be said upfront, the Rasoi is ridiculously expensive, but food here is nice, original, and skillfuly presented.
The ambiance was nice and not too formal or stuffy, at least not the staff.
We've enjoyed ourselves equally, and sometimes more, in many other, non Michelin rated restaurants, in Geneva (Café de Peney, outside of Geneva, comes to mind) and elsewhere.
Though...

Ok it's creative, it's modern, it's Indian, everyone raves. But $1200 for 4 people? It's just far too precious and far too expensive to actually enjoy. Don't bother.
Dear Grubby19,
Thank you for having taken the time to post your recent experience from Rasoi. It disappoints us to read that you felt that our high prices were not worth the visit. Rasoi, by Vineet, being our Signature Michelin-starred restaurant, has a pricing policy that is based on other Michelin-starred restaurants in Geneva and the region. Four persons dining...
