Great bar for a quick espresso and hot chocolate in a variety of flavors. Our favorite morning stop.
We had just arrived in Florence off the train from Venice. Room wasn't quit ready and our friend at the hotel suggested this place. Glad he did because it was well worth it. The staff was very friendly and explained things to us at the counter. We had the pork and mixed veggies. It was all very tasty. The pork... More
Our favorite apertivo spot in Firenze was at ChiarScuro. An amazing spread of pasta salads, cheese, meats, sandwiches and spreads. Good red wine and strong negroni's. I don't understand how this concept hasn't caught on in the states yet. This place is basically a coffee shop by day, but in the late afternoon they start assembling the apertivo buffet. Anything... Nice and very friendly staff and great food which is also very reasonably priced. Always a nice spot for lunch. Very central but still a lot of locals, not just tourists.
Friendly service, very good atmosphere, the rice cake we tried was very good and we liked the interior very much, a nice little café feeling.
Great little Caffè offering cheap and DELICIOUS espresso and capuccino at the counter or a nice ambiance in their pretty decorated rooms. They even sell the different paintings hanged on the wall. We went there every morning for a quick café. I really recommend it!

We were looking for a place off the beaten track where the staff would be patient with my italian. This place was good because although they did speak English, they didn't immediately launch into English when I started to order, which I... More
It's a nice place to have a cup of coffee with their cornetti or croissants; with lots of food selections from cold appetizers to pasta but what i dont like is.......overcrowded!
