Five of us ate here tonight and all agreed it was the best food we've ever eaten. Quaint atmosphere, excellent wait staff and excellent food. We had the Classics of the Bistro menu with wine pairings. Small portions with exquisite taste. Can't describe how perfect the meal was. We even received a small surprise at the end of our meal.

Our Uffizi guide recommended this restaurant. According to him, we should go to a restaurant where they don't speak English. This one was a 15-minute taxi ride and light years away from tourists! We were the only English-speaking customers. We got the earliest reservation at 7:30pm and were the first customers. The owner, Antonio, was a delight. He recommended the... More

We chose this off the beaten track restaurant for a 60th birthday celebration and weren't disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and chose the six course tasting menu with wines to match. The food was simply excellent, the wines expertly chosen and the atmosphere of the restaurant relaxing and unpretentious. A real find.

My husband and I went here with our family in florence, they are friends with the owner/cook. I have lived in Italy and have been to many restaurants in florence, the best, the worst etc. The meal I ate here was hands down the best meal of my life. The restaurant looks like a cafe (and once was given the... More

This is an absolutely charming place with an extremely talented chef and most helpful staff. Two types of food allergies in our party were met with smiles and a custom tailored tasting menu, with no hesitation. Incredibly delicious food, comfortable and lovely design, welcoming environment. One of the best meals we've had, anywhere. Grazie!

Myself, my wife and two adult daughters just returned from Florence. I believe Florence has some of the best food in the world. We were looking for a special meal on our last night and several weeks prior I made reservations at La Bottega del Buon. We had the 6-course Chef's Tasting Menu. Everything was amazing. The service was incredible... More

My wife and I ate dinner at this little gem recently. It was most definitely the best food we have eaten in Florence and anywhere else in the World for some time. The restaurant by day serves the locals normal Italian cuisine and by night transforms into a boutique gastronomical experience. The menu provides you with the option of a... More

Dear Tourist, I know you are looking for a good restaurant where to spend an evening with your girlfriend in Florence. Well, this is too Italian for you. Stay in the city center, where the restaurants have garlic and onions hanging from the walls (like in the movies!!!) and where you can easily find exactly the same things you eat... More

I booked this for my husband and I on our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It's a bit off the beaten track but all the better for that. We liked the unfussy decor and ambience, and the small size of the restaurant was perfect for a romantic night out. All the food was both inventive and beautifully presented (a work of art... More

My friend and I found ourselves here for our last dinner of our trip together, and we had planned for a good dinner. Our expectations were surpassed by the excellence of the food, which was truly outstanding, with fantastic wines that greatly complimented the dishes, and the outstanding and attentive service throughout. Run by two brothers, one the cook and... More
