This restaurant stands out as one of the better eating establishments in Taormina. The service is exemplary. We were greeted by the owner the minute we arrived and were treated with excellent standards of attention. The menu is very diverse catering to almost any palet rather than the "run of the mill" Italian restaurants in the centre of Taormina. They... More

I only say that to stop anyone else going! We had an excellent meal with great service and excellent wine. Loved the baked aubergine starter. Best meal we've had so far in taormina.

We spent a week in Taormina in April which we thoroughly enjoyed. We saw this restaurant had a high rating on Trip Advisor and it was also recommended to us by our Hotel. We booked a table for our second night and we highly recommend it. The food, the wine selection & the staff were all first class. Nino was... More

This really is a place not to miss but arrive in good time as the restaurant fills up very quickly. We got almost the last table on a may mid week which definitely tells you something. That something is great food and even better service from great staff. Couldn't fault it

We spent a month in Taormina, the most delightful experience! Night after night we would return to our favorite restaurant, Trattoria di Nino to try everything on the menu. We were never disappointed and met so many others who felt the same. Be sure to stop by earlier in the day to make a reservation as the dining room fills... More

A reservation is almost a must if you want to dine here. Attentive, friendly service. We started with the day's speciality -artichoke sallad seasoned with tasty glaze followed by excellent mussels (cozze marinara) cooked in white wine and herbs. The veal (scaloppina) in marsala sauce was over-cooked but the sauce heavenly. Loved also the desserts, the very sweet Sicilian cake... More

Went to this place after reading the reviews on TA. Went about 9-ish, it was quite busy so we decided to wait for a table (only about 10 mins). We managed to get a table outside on the balcony over looking the beach. The food and service at this place were first class. The waiter was extremely friendly and spoke... More

This restaurant situated almost opposite the cable car for the beach has been established for many years. In appearance it is simple but the cuisine is anything but. Nino the owner prides hmself on the authentic nature of this place. Here you can eat fresh fish and one of the various pasta dishes or pizza. Impeccably clean with a very... More

We went following the reccomendations. Stood in line for 20 min. and it was well worth it. Super fresh seafood, great pasta and attentive service.

After having tried out 6 of the best restaurants did we decide for Nino as the best and went there on our last night in Taormina. The Antipasta Italia and the artischoke-salad are both very delicious. The veal is tender and tasty, the ravioli with pine and shrimps in a green sauce - a dream, and the spada in sauce... More
