First visited the shop as we heard it was great but they were closed for a private party. We went back later and the gentleman behind the counter was so sweet he gave us a chocolate for coming back. Very modern but cozy shop in the old section of Palermo. Delicious artisan chocolates and cakes. They also serve a lovely... More

Great owners. We enjoyed going in for cappuccino and cake, Torres. Chocolate is great too. Thank you Lorenzo for a great place to go during our stay.

Modern chocolate cafe in old area of Palermo. Stocks a small range of delicious choclate baked cakes (we have tried lemon, white chocolate and almond cake plus pear and chocolate cake and enjoyed both). alsomoffers its own range of chocolates, plus has a menu which nckudea panini and salads (not tried). Recommended!

That pretty much sums it up! We ducked into this shop to seek refuge from the rain. The pastries were soooo good - especially the brownies! The owner shared the password for the wi-fi, and when it was time for us to go he gave us an umbrella from his lost and found bin.

Great cafeteria with very nice owner. My 5 years old son was impressed looking at his picture that hanging over the clients heads! More? The cleanest place in whole Sicily! ;) Yesterday in Palermo, today in Warsaw...

The service was very professional in this small shop in the heart of old Palermo's Kalsa district. Their product was tasty and the price was right. They've made an effort to present a slick, modern face in an otherwise ragged part of town. We returned twice during our week. During our second visit, their side-room had been commandeered by a... What a great place. It is a haven away from the noise and busyness of the streets. The hot chocolate was the richest I've ever had and yet not overly sweet. Great pastries too.

We have been to chocolate stores in Perugia, Switzerland, Belgium, France, and all over the world. Still, Cioccolateria Lorenzo was a revelation. We stumbled onto it in December of 2011, just on the very day they first opened. We were visiting the Museo De Pupi, which is very close. There is something very fresh and very special about their chocolate... More
